Three Rivers Photos
Mom's Visit

October 22-24, 2004

Not a lot of pictures this week. Loretta's family (mom, sisters and brother-in-law) came up to see our property. Since Loretta is the photographer in the family, and her attention was elsewhere, most of our pictures this week are gratis her sister, Shirley.

There had been a storm since our last visit, but the tents did well. Even though we had company, Rob managed to start forming the boardwalk - but we left it on the deck, to finish next time.

It was really great having Loretta's family here. When we took them up to Sequoia, there was snow on the ground, and Loretta's mom had many memories of vacations up there.

(As always, click on the picture to get a larger picture that you can see better)

Loretta's 84 year old mom wanted to go up on the rocks with everyone else so she could see the view. It took 3 of us helping her, and she had to crawl on her knees to get up, but she made it! Here, Doris and Loretta have a hold on Mom while Shirley takes the picture.

The buckeye trees have now lost all their leaves, due to the storm, and the branches are a stark grayish-white.
