Our Own Water

10/01/05 - 10/03/05

Another exciting time in Three Rivers (well, for us,anyway). We bought our new generator and hauled it up, so we could hook up the pump. Of course, now that summer is over, water isn't nearly as important, but it's still exciting.

The new tent we put up last time worked out so well, that we bought two more.

The only disappointing part was that our game camera only got triggered twice. Clear pictures, but no animals on them. We're beginning to wonder about it. We walk the road, checking to see if it will trigger. We trigger it, but Coco doesn't. We change the angle to see if that will help.

(As always, click on the picture to get a larger picture that you can see better)

Hanging the sides on the canopy was a breeze! Loretta did the whole thing herself!

Loretta finishes up hanging the sides.

The second tent goes up even faster than the first, now that we know what we're doing. Whew! The tractor really does fit. We really weren't sure.

Both tents and sides are on. Tractor is inside. (Of course, Loretta hung the sides after the tractor was inside the tent).

Rob gets to use his box blade again, smoothing the well site more, and pushing in a new 'RV Road'.

The third tent goes over the well site. That should keep the rain off us when we need to get water in the winter.

Rob hooks up the wiring for the generator.

... and our very own water comes out of our very own well, with our very own generator! We can hear the generator load increase as the pump starts up. Look at how much pressure we have!

Rob just turned on the water for a minute, but you can see how much water came out!
