Finally! We have our first draft of our house plans!
Our trip started with a deluge of rain as we drove over the Grapevine. The weather was predicted to be rain the entire weekend. But we had plans to meet with the architect to talk about our house plans. Rob's prediction was good weather.
Thankfully, as soon as we got over the Grapevine, the rain slowed, and by the time we got to camp, the sun was shining and it was an absolutely beautiful day!
We stopped by the homesite first, and got quite a surprise (you'll just have to look below to see what that was).
Near the end of the day, the clouds came in, and it looked quite dark. The kids were out in the meadow, and suddenly, the skies just opened up and it poured. They had their jackets on, but got totally soaked. It poured all night, but in the morning it was gorgeous again. We later found out it had rained all day back in Rancho.
