Waterfalls and Rainbows

03/17/06 - 03/19/06

What a spectacular weekend this was!

It's been 3 weeks since we've been up here, and it's been raining most of that time. We have a rain gauge near our camp, and it showed there had been 6 inches of rain in the last 3 weeks.

As a matter of fact, it was raining when we drove up, and it rained most of Saturday. But look what the rain has done!

It's almost impossible to pick and choose the pictures this time. So, most of them will be presented in slide-show format.

(As always, click on the picture to get a larger picture that you can see better)

Look at these spectacular rainbows! They were so bright, and so full! You could even see the violet color clearly most of the time. They were so close, it really did look like you could just hike over to the foot of the rainbow. And I've never before seen a double rainbow.

Working in the rain and mud, Rob fit, mounted and welded some attachments to the tractor box blade.

Yes, spring is definitely here. Our flower show begins again.

We simply can't believe what the rain has done! Even with all the rain we had last year, we can't recall having so many streams on our property! Absolutely beautiful waterfalls and streams.

Sunday was a beautiful day, but look at the dark clouds looming over Horn Mountain (no slide-show)
