Well Site Preparation

06/14/05 - 06/15/05

We could only do so much last weekend with dragging the tree branch, and our harrow came in, so Rob and his son, Matt, went up during the week to see if the harrow would clear it any better.

It was hard work, but, as you can see, they had a ball doing it!

(As always, click on the picture to get a larger picture that you can see better)

Here's the ATV with the harrow attached. You can see it has some serious spikes to dig into the ground and pull out the weeds

This is pretty much how we left it on the weekend. The tree branch had flattened all the weeds, but it didn't pull them out very much.

Matt thinks he's 'king of the hill' now that he's finished.

What a difference! Everything is all clean now!

Now, Rob and Matt start the playground. They clear an area near the camp, so they can erect the play structure that we brought up from home. (We had to take down the play structure to make room for two sheds).(slideshow)

Finally, at the end of the day, Matt and Rob eat dinner. You can see it's still chilly at night, even though the days are hot.
