misunderstandings about how various procedures will be handled.
Ordering
Our preferred method for you to order is through our secure shopping cart,
since that will help reduce errors. However, you may also email your order.
We do not support faxed orders or phone orders.
In the event that a product is out of stock, we will notify you by email.
We generally do not backorder, unless we are expecting the product within the
next few days. In that case we will give you
the option of holding the entire order or shipping the order without that item and
backordering the out-of-stock item.
We do not have a minimum order. However, we do have a very low margin on
all our items, and you will assist us in keeping prices down if you do not put
very small orders on a credit card payment.
An order that is being paid for by personal check, money order or PayPal will be held
open for 10 days to allow for receipt of payment. If payment is not received within 10 days,
the order will be cancelled.
Payment Options
We accept personal checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa and PayPal.
If you pay with a personal check, please include some form of identification on
your check (Drivers License or Social Security #). We reserve the right to
hold the shipping of an order until the check clears.
In order to help protect our customers and to reduce costly fraud, we require
the entry of the security code for credit card payments.
Orders without the security code will not be processed. If,
for some reason, you an no longer read the security code on your card, you may contact
your bank for instructions on how to proceed.

We will charge a $20.00 fee for any payment that is returned by your bank
unpaid.
Returns and credits
Nature's Wild Child does not accept returned merchandise except in the following
cases:
- Damaged/Defective Merchandise: Please inspect your shipment upon arrival. If you find
that something is damaged or defective, please retain all packaging materials and the item itself.
Please notify us by email within 24 hours after receipt of the shipment. We will
advise you whether or not to return the item for inspection. The item will be replaced with an
identical item upon approval.
- Incorrect Item: Although we work very hard to ensure you receive your
correct order, we may occasionally have an error in our packing area, and you may
receive the wrong item. Please contact us by email immediately. We will do our
best to arrive at an equitable solution. Do not just return the item
without contacting us, as you will not be given credit for an unapproved returned item.
On occasion, we may find that your total due is less than the amount you have remitted
by check, money order or PayPal, or the amount that was charged to your credit card.
This is most likely to happen if the shipping is significantly less than what was calculated by
our shopping cart.
In this case, your invoice will reflect a credit.
If we have issued a credit, you may apply it to your next order by referencing
the invoice number and credit amount in the comments of the shopping cart. If the
credit is more than $5.00, you may request a refund check.
Shipping
As a general rule, once your order is received and payment is processed, the
order will be filled by the following business day, and shipped no later than the
business day after that.
Federal Express is our preferred method for shipments over 3 pounds. USPS Priority
Mail is generally preferred for shipments under 3 pounds. As a general rule, we will
honor whichever method you select on our shopping cart. However, in some circumstances,
we may substitute an alternate shipping method, unless you advise otherwise in our
comments section.
- UPS Ground: If the recipient address is in a residential area, UPS requires
the residential surcharge to be paid, regardless of whether or not you run a business.
- USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post: The Flat Rate Envelope option in
our shopping cart will only work for specified products. If this option is selected
inappropriately, we reserve the right to substitute appropriate shipping options.
- USPS Global Express Flat Rate Envelope:The Flat Rate Envelope option in
our shopping cart will only work for specified products. If this option is selected
inappropriately, we reserve the right to substitute appropriate shipping options.
- Federal Express: If the recipient address is in a residential area, Fed Ex
requires either Home Delivery or Fed Ex Ground Residential, regardless of whether or not you
run a business.
We reserve the right to change the requested shipping method if the one chosen
does not meet the requirements for the product being purchased. An example of this
would be that in extremely hot weather, shea butter should not be shipped USPS Parcel Post,
due to the long shipping time. We will attempt to use the most economical method of
shipping, unless you specify otherwise.
Special Note about address validity: UPS and Fed Ex charge $5.00 for an address
correction. If you provide an incorrect address, you agree to assume the responsibility
for the fee, and agree that Nature's Wild Child may charge this fee to your credit
card or next order.
Sales Tax
Nature's Wild Child will charge sales tax to all customers in the State of
California, unless you have a valid California resale permit. If you have a
valid California resale permit, please enter it into the comments section of
our shopping cart, and check the 'NO' box to the question about whether the recipient address
is in California.
Your Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Our shopping cart is secured and only collects personal information that is
needed in order to process your payment. We want you to know that we will never
provide any of your personal information to any third party.
Your credit card information is never sent to us via email. Instead, our
shopping cart service maintains this information in their secured server.
This information can only be accessed with the proper log-in, using a protected
userid and password. We also safeguard your information once it reaches us,
ensuring that only those with the need-to-know have access to the information.
If you sign up for our mailing list, your email address will remain private,
as part of the Yahoo Group only. You may unsubscribe at any time, by following
the instructions at the bottom of the email, or by going to www.groups.yahoo.com/NWCNews
and following the instructions there.
